FAQs

The cost of a tow depends on where your vehicle is, where it needs to go, and whether any extra work or specialist equipment is required.

Most standard towing jobs around greater Christchurch and North Canterbury are typically between $150 and $250.

Jobs involving difficult access, locked wheels, a vehicle stuck in Park, specialist equipment or longer distances may cost more, but we’ll always let you know before carrying out the work.

If you’ve been referred by one of the workshops we work with, ask us about our trade rates.

Before you call, we're going to need to know:

• When you need your car towed

• Where we're towing it from and where it's going?

• If it's a breakdown, an idea of what's wrong with it - can it be started or driven?

• If it's an accident, how bad is the damage?

• How we can get the keys?

• Is it lowered?

If you need a lift to your mechanic (maybe to pick up a loan car), or if we're taking your car to your home address, in most cases we can take up to 2 people. If you need us to drop you off somewhere else, just ask when you book and we'll do our best to help you.

Yes we can! If you've run out of juice and need to get to a charging station, or had an accident or broken down, we can help. In some instances we need to use dollies on the drive wheels to avoid damage, but we're skilled in towing EVs from Teslas to Leafs.
